21 Years of IFGF Sydney
IFGF Sydney recently celebrated its 21st anniversary on September 11, 2022. A thanksgiving celebration was held on the Sunday service.
Last year, due to social distancing and gathering limitations, IFGF Sydney had to celebrate its anniversary from home. However, this year we were able to gather in person to celebrate the church’s anniversary. It was an honor to welcome Ps. Gerald of IFGF Auckland in IFGF Sydney, to share the word of God. In his sharing, Ps. Gerald reminded the church to actively take part in managing and putting things in order within the community. Most importantly, to bring the people around us to be closer to Jesus. As a church, we need to go out and make a difference instead of staying still within the church.
As for me and my house, we will seek and love the Lord with all our mind, body and soul.
Before the celebration, IFGF Sydney also held a VIP Day to appreciate the volunteers who have been faithful in their ministry. To create a festive mood, the VIP Day was held in the 80s theme. At least 37 adults and 12 children attended the event. A token of appreciation was also given to the pastoral team of IFGF Sydney, Ps. Paulus & Anna, Ps. Yopie & Maggie, and Ps. Mario and Keren, who have been committing their lives to lead and care for the church.
It was a joyous celebration and everyone who attended was blessed by the event. IFGF Sydney, may you continue to grow and bless your community. Amen!
