A New Season at IFGF Singapore
This year, IFGF Singapore will enter a new season with significant changes happening there. These changes, though, will not hinder its growth and progress.
IFGF Singapore is one of IFGF churches that has been established for a long time and has created spiritual and marketplace leaders. As the pandemic brings about changes to the world, IFGF Singapore needs to adjust its strategies for the current condition.
Therefore, IFGF Global sent Ps. Joshua Artono to lead IFGF Singapore temporarily as he and his family were residing in Singapore. Thankfully Ps. Joshua and the IFGF Singapore team were able to overcome the challenges that were present. The church is now able to have a weekly Sunday service at a strategic location, YWCA Building, Fort Canning Lv. 3, Singapore-179494, on 16.30.
As the pandemic is coming to an end, IFGF Singapore needs a full time pastor to minister the souls. Thus, on March 6, 2022 during IFGF Bandung’s Sunday service , Ps. Sam Hartanto as the senior pastor of IFGF Bandung and the president of IFGF Global, anointed Ps. Yohanes Kusika as the senior pastor of IFGF Bandung. Ps. Yohanes Kusika previously acted as the Discipleship Pastor in IFGF Bandung.
Also in attendance during the anointing prayer were parents and siblings from Ps. Yohanes and wife. The congregation both onsite and online were also supporting Ps. Yohanes for his next step in ministry.
In one of his posts, Ps. Yohanes conveyed his gratitude for the trust given to him, especially to Ps. Sam Hartanto; “Thanks for the trust to carry me under your wings and letting me grow. Thank you for trusting me to fly on my own wings now yet still mentor and welcome me like always.”
Let us support Ps. Yohanes, his wife, Rika and their daughter, Aimee in their new ministry. And also for IFGF Singapore that they may grow brighter to bring light for the community. Congratulations Ps. Yohanes Kusika and IFGF Singapore.
