Stay Connected
Starting from March 2020, IFGF Samarinda (Indonesia) has a “Preservice”. This acts as a platform where church members can stay connected with each other by sharing their testimonies and praying for each other. “Preservice” is held weekly at 09.00 WITA before the church joins IFGF Jakarta’s online service at 10.00 WITA.
However in April 2021, “Preservice” IFGF Samarinda was only held twice a month alternating with the Super Sunday which was held live from church. The team and worship team from IFGF Samarinda led the service which could be accessed through Zoom. This was done so the volunteers and church members could minister and enjoy a Sunday service in their own home, IFGF Samarinda.
Throughout the pandemic, IFGF Samarinda also holds another online activity which is DJ Live. Started on 15 June 2020 under the name “Speak Live” but later changed to “Discipleship Journey Live” to reflect the goal of the project where church members can grow together in God. In DJ Live, the church learns God’s words through discussions and digs deeper on the teaching that was taught on the IFGF Jakarta’s online service on the previous Sunday.
