NEWS FROM IFGF CHURCHES IN DECEMBER 2023

Just like it is written in Psalms 100:4, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name”, we are deeply grateful for what the Lord has done for the IFGF churches. We have received reports of various events and activities that have taken place in different locations.

In early December, IFGF Tobelo celebrated the graduation of 9 individuals who had completed the fourth series of classes, known as “Lead” in Discipleship Journey. On the same day, IFGF Tobelo also held a Covenant Ceremony for Mr. Alex Lesawengan and Mrs. Driss Masela. Additionally, a child dedication ceremony  took place on the same day for their son, Aveiro Darren Masela.

During the same week, IFGF Mapanget held a Christmas Celebration with the theme “A Faithful Prince of Peace”. The congregation and invited guests were truly blessed by this special occasion.

In both the first and the final weeks of December, IFGF Ecuador organized three outreach events in different areas. The first event was held on December 2 at Lago Agrio Shacha and was attended by 350 children and 150 adults, who accepted Jesus as their Savior. The other two outreach events took place in Portoviejo, where 40 children and 20 adults gave their lives to Jesus. Meanwhile, in La Pradera, Quito, 80 children and 70 adults received Jesus to come into their hearts.

IFGF Ende, which is located in Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia had a special visit from Ps. Lina Waharti (IFGF Surabaya) on December 22. Two days later, a heartwarming Christmas Eve service was held, followed by a Christmas celebration on December 25. As the month came to a close, IFGF Ende held a New Year’s Eve service for the congregation, a special service where attendees were given the opportunity to share their personal testimonies of their journey in 2023.

It’s truly a season of abundant blessings and heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful works of the Lord within the IFGF churches.
